Who is Anton J.

Anton J. began studying oboe practice by taking lessons from Simon Houttuin in Rotterdam and later on he started taking lessons from Jaap Stotijn in The Hague. As a former student of the famous oboist Jaap Stotijn, he has many years of experience crafting professional oboe reeds and English horn reeds. All reeds are made according to traditional methods.  During his tuition at the academy of music he already started making handmade reeds for his fellow students. As a result he provided amateur and professional musicians, as well as students and music teachers, with his excellent handmade reeds.

In addition he studied choir, orchestra management and music education.Many choir and orchestral pieces of Anton J. are published by Proza Musica at Veenendaal, www.prozamusica.nl , Egge Verlag at Koblenz(Dld), www.egge-verlag.de and www.prairidawgpress.com Manhattan USA.
